Alliance Re is a property & casualty reinsurance company providing a broad range of classes and lines of business throughout selected international markets. Incorporated in Cyprus since 1994, the Company is listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and regulated by the Insurance Superintendent of Cyprus. Its licence was granted following new insurance legislation that came into force on January 1st 2003, harmonizing Cyprus Insurance Law with European Union Directives. We operate globally with clients in more than fifty countries. Our business is spread through a large number of London, international and regional brokers, with whom we enjoy close relationships. In addition to this, we act on a direct basis. Alliance Re is constantly looking to penetrate new territories as part of our strategy for growth. In September 2005 we opened a regional office in the DIFC to service local companies and producing brokers throughout the Middle East & North Africa regions (“MENA”). Our multi-line approach to underwriting, coupled with regional know-how, continues to build the Company's position in the global marketplace.
